Heidi Penner - Chief Deputy Auditor
Heidi joined the Auditor's office in November of 2006 as Chief
Deputy Auditor. Heidi is a lifelong Skamania County resident, and
graduated from Central Washington University with a teaching degree
in Secondary Mathematics and a minor in Special Education. In her
spare time, Heidi enjoys scrapbooking, camping, being outdoors and
spending time with her family, especially her daughter Emma. |

Desi Allinger - Accounting Technician II
Desi has been with the Auditor's office since December of 2009.
She arrived with nine years of federal government experience working
for The Department of Interior. After attending the University
of Washington, she worked at Intel Corporation for 12 years, then
became an art teacher for five years. Desi grew up in the
Portland/Vancouver area. Her dad is from Stevenson and still
has lots of family in the area. When not auditing vouchers,
Desi enjoys sewing, art, fashion, antiquing, traveling and baking
pies with her husband. |

Melissa Anderson - Recording Manager
Melissa joined the Skamania County Auditor's office as a full time
employee in October 2007 as Recording Manager. Prior to joining the
Auditor's office Melissa worked as an office manager/executive
assistant in the real estate & construction fields. In addition to
this, Melissa has also worked as an elementary music teacher & has a
degree in education from Louisiana State University. Melissa moved to WA State 10 years ago & recently
relocated to beautiful Skamania County with her family. |

David O'Brien – Elections Manager
David has lived and worked in the Columbia River Gorge since 1972.
He started working at the Sheriff’s Office in 1980 and transferred
to the Auditor’s Office as our Elections Manager in 1999.
He is a State Certified Election Administrator. When he is not busy
managing Elections, he can be found helping out in the Licensing
Department. |

Nathan
Phillips – Licensing Coordinator
Nathan joined the
Skamania County Auditor's Office in July 2009 as our Licensing
Coordinator. Previously, Nathan worked as a field auditor and
manager in the mortgage industry, and brings his
business experience to our office. Nathan holds degrees in History
and Criminology, and can frequently be found hiking around the
Hamilton
and
Table
Mountain
areas of
Skamania
County

Lorrie Rowland – Part-time Accounting Technician II
Lorrie joined the Skamania County Auditor's office as a part time
employee in August of 2006. Prior to joining the Auditor's office
Lorrie worked at the Portland International Airport as Chief Auditor
for the parking facilities. Lorrie has lived off and on in the
Skamania area for 13 years and is a Washington native. |

Tonia Waymire – Office Assistant 5
Tonia started as the Payroll Deputy in October of 2008.
Previously, she worked in the office starting in September of
2007. She is knowledgeable in Licensing, Recording and
Accounts Payable as well. In her spare time, she coaches High
School and Youth Cheerleading among many other volunteer
activities. |
