J. Michael Garvison - Auditor
Mike has been the Skamania County Auditor since 2002. He was born
and raised in Clackamas County, Oregon and attended Oregon City High
School. Mike graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in
Accounting in 1999. Mike then worked for the Washington State
Auditor’s office before becoming the Skamania County Auditor.

| Mike is an active member of the community, he is a
board member of East Clark County and Western Skamania County Little
League, he is also a board member of the Washougal Schools
Foundation, in addition he is a member of the Skamania County Fire
District #4 Auxiliary. Mike lives with his wife, Elizabeth and his
daughter Gabriella in the Skye area of western Skamania County. |

Heidi Penner - Chief Deputy Auditor
Heidi joined the Auditor's office in November of 2006 as Chief
Deputy Auditor. Heidi is a lifelong Skamania County resident, and
graduated from Central Washington University with a teaching degree
in Secondary Mathematics and a minor in Special Education. In her
spare time, Heidi enjoys scrapbooking, camping, being outdoors and
spending time with her family, especially her daughter Emma. |

Angela Moser – Licensing Accounting Coordinator
Angela joined the Skamania County Auditor’s office in August of 1993
as a Licensing Agent. Over the past 14 years she has became the
office ‘expert’. She is also knowledgeable in the Recording, AP and
Payroll departments. Angela is a Skamania County native; she enjoys
riding Harleys and outdoor activities. |

Melissa Anderson - Recording Manager
Melissa joined the Skamania County Auditor's office as a full time
employee in October 2007 as Recording Manager. Prior to joining the
Auditor's office Melissa worked as an office manager/executive
assistant in the real estate & construction fields. In addition to
this, Melissa has also worked as an elementary music teacher & has a
degree in education from Louisiana State University. Melissa moved to WA State 10 years ago & recently
relocated to beautiful Skamania County with her family. |

David O'Brien – Elections Manager
David has lived and worked in the Columbia River Gorge since 1972.
He started working at the Sheriff’s Office in 1980 and transferred
to the Auditor’s Office as our Elections Manager in 1999.
He is a State Certified Election Administrator. When he is not busy
managing Elections, he can be found helping out in the Licensing
Department. |

Racheal Sampson – Payroll Deputy
Racheal joined the Auditor’s office in February of 2006 as a
Recording Deputy. Prior to joining the Auditor’s office Racheal
worked for a title company where she gained valuable experience with
public records. Racheal took on the position of Payroll Deputy in
October of 2007. |

Danielle Lankford - Part-time Office Assistant
Danielle joined the Skamania County Auditor’s office in June of 2004
as a College Summer Employee. She has continued to work in our
office three days a week, while attending Washington State
University. Danielle spends most of her time assisting in our
Recording and Licensing departments.

Lorrie Rowland – Part-time Accounts Payable Deputy
Lorrie joined the Skamania County Auditor's office as a part time
employee in August of 2006. Prior to joining the Auditor's office
Lorrie worked at the Portland International Airport as Chief Auditor
for the parking facilities. Lorrie has lived off and on in the
Skamania area for 13 years and is a Washington native. |
